Ah, post Thanksgiving oddities

I was taking a walk, and I see an animal illuminated by an approaching car's headlights. First, I think it's a stray dog. Then the animal gets closer and I realize it's a bird. I get closer, and lo and behold, it's a turkey. There is a turkey running around blocks away from my house, and I can't help but wonder what happened for a turkey to be loose. It's not a stretch to guess it has something to do with the recently passed holiday. Well it was a good laugh at the time.
